And yes! We really mean learning through speaking and working with a teacher on-line, live! This is not just a site where you can chat to students in a club, or a site where you do exercises.

This is a personally designed course, worked out by you and your teacher, to meet your needs and taught by them!  

In today's busy world of International Business, who has time to go to classroom or school at an allocated time?

 Well here, you don't have to leave your office to learn! The teacher comes to you over the Net!

At times convenient for you and topics discussed/learnt/designed for your needs specifically!

  How does it work?

We use a system called Net-meeting. This enables the teacher and student to talk to each other at the same time, whilst using the tools available to have a structured interesting lesson.

What tools?

The most used tool that accompanies the speaking is ‘Whiteboard’.

This is an interactive board that enables the teacher and student to share texts and images.

This can take the form of pair-work, vocabulary work, telephone dialogues, meeting situations, writing tasks and much much more! This all takes place as you are talking with your teacher.

Students may also share any documents or programs with their teacher and both can work together to discuss, correct or improve the items.

TEACHERS!

Our teachers and staff are trained to help you set-up and show you, how Net-meeting works.

Then you just log on at an arranged time, an you will be in the capable hands of one of our experienced and professional teachers.

It is possible to use video as well, but this takes a lot of technical 'now how' And can lead to problems when on-line. Though if you would like to have a video link-up, no problem!

System Requirements
       The following are the minimum system requirements to install and run Microsoft NetMeeting.

• A PC, or a Mac running Virtual PC

• A sound-card, and a headphone with an attached microphone (speakers & microphone aren't as good - a headset is much better!)

• Minimum 90MHz processor

• 16 megabytes (MB) of RAM for Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me; 24 megabytes (MB) of RAM for Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0.

• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.01 or later

• Microsoft NetMeeting (see below)

• A good internet connection (28.8 kbps modem or faster)

  Once you get going you may want to hear notes and homework sent by your teacher. You will need Real one Player. There is a free basic player available through this link (You may need to sieve through the advertising for the payable download, but there is a free one there!
